Launched in 2014 in Columbus, Ohio, by our founders Terracina and Brent, Arvo has saved its clients millions through Federal Employment Tax Credit Programs. Our team of experts with collectively 150+ years of tax experience is dedicated to helping our customers improve the economics of their business.

Terracina Maxwell
President & Co-Founder
Arvo was co-founded by Terracina Maxwell, who has a background in both accounting and law. Her degrees in Business Administration and Law from the University of Akron and The Ohio State University College of Law, respectively, along with her 8 years of experience at EY, give her a wealth of knowledge and expertise.
She has become a respected leader in her field through decades of experience in assisting businesses across all 50 States with employment-based tax credits.
Brent Johnson
Co-Founder
Brent has worked in tax incentives for over 30 years, starting at Deloitte for 8 years, helping develop complex tax strategies for corporate taxpayers, he then went on to lead the tax department at Safelite Autoglass, the largest manufacturer, and distributor of replacement windshields nationwide, where he helped them claim both R&D and WOTC. From 2004-2011 he acted as Managing Partner for Clarus Partners, a regional CPA firm based in Columbus, Ohio.
In 2012, he co-founded Clarus Solutions (now Arvo Tech), and since that time, Brent has focused on delivering the value of tax incentive programs to small and middle-market businesses through the use of specialized technology.
