Position Overview

The Tax Credit Process Specialist role is critical in helping clients to claim employment tax credits. This role focuses on reviewing all documents included in the client package and works to make sure the client receives all deliverables in a secure way and answers any questions the client may have regarding filing requirements.
This role may also help with the credit calculations required to determine the amount of the tax credit available to our clients and will involve reviewing the work of others. A successful Tax Credit Process Specialist will learn the details of the tax credit and work with the other operations team members to accurately deliver all documents to the client and answer any questions regarding the filing of the refund claim.

Duties and Responsibilities

      • Assist with documentation and review of final client information
      • Calculate / Review tax credits using Microsoft Excel
      • Prepare / Review tax forms and memos associated with credits
      • Maintain tracking of client credit information
      • Work collaboratively with other operations team members, and other departments within the company
      • Provide feedback on how to continuously improve our software and services
      • Interact with clients via phone/video conference/email
      • Engage in written correspondence with the IRS
      • Potentially serve as a Paid Preparer of payroll tax returns (Form 941/941X)
      • Perform other duties as assigned
