Position Overview

In this role, you will follow a predictive sales process to prospect and find opportunities over outbound calling, emailing, consultative video and phone meetings. You will be the first face of Clarus Solutions that prospects will see, so you will need to exude confidence in your knowledge of the Employee Retention and Work Opportunity tax credits, how it applies to their business, what our methodology is for claiming it, and why hundreds of CPAs and direct customers choose us. The ideal individual enjoys discussing business issues and can help prospects understand the benefits of our exclusive offering. Executive presence and the ability to gain the attention and respect of business leaders is critical. A successful sales executive is dedicated to providing value to business owners and positions themselves as an expert consultant.

Duties and Responsibilities

      • Prospect over the phone and through email to qualified leads in the target industries with the goal of setting up meetings with qualified leads 
      • Educate prospects on our ERTC and WOTC programs 
      • Schedule consultative meetings with SMB C-level prospects and tax executives about the ERTC/WOTC and Clarus Solutions methodology to claim it
      • Move prospects through the sales process with appropriate follow up to efficiently advance to a close
      • Collaborate with the sales team with feedback and ideas to increase conversion from leads to customers
      • Document all client and prospect interactions in Salesforce
      • Execute contract signing and, after the sale, accurately handoff to account management and expert teams
      • Ensure customer success immediately following implementation

Skills and Qualifications

      • Bachelor’s Degree 
      • Minimum one year sales experience in a structured sales environment – inside sales with outbound calling preferred
      • Demonstrated record of achievement in prior sales related positions – creativity is a plus
      • Background in consultative sales with decision makers, especially small business owners, entrepreneurs, and C-level executives
      • Excellent verbal, written, and meeting skills supported by strong interpersonal skills
      • Strong and confident phone and video meeting presence
      • Ability to learn quickly and communicate product/service value proposition
      • Ability to juggle multiple prospects with timely, responsive follow up
      • Familiarity with activity and task tracking in Salesforce
      • High energy, positive, and achievement driven
      • Takes direction but is a self-starter and works independently toward goals
